You Will Need

Mini Greaseproof Loaf Cases Red (824174)

Brilliant White Sugarpaste (74229)

Colour Splash Food Colouring Gel - Red (0675069)

Colour Splash Food Colouring Gel - Green Leaf (0675078)

Pavoni Rose Plunger Cutter (99915)

Rose Leaf Plunger Cutter (84381)

Step 1

Make up a cake mix (flavour of your choice) enough to make 10 mini loaf cakes.

Step 2

Half fill each loaf case with the mixture and bake.  Note: These cases will need support when baking – recommended to bake inside either mini loaf tins (810523) or mini easy bake loaf trays (062340). Or you could form the shape in foil to support while baking.  Remove from oven and cool. The tops may need levelling.

Step 3

Knead and roll out white sugarpaste. Cut into rectangles approx 90mm x 50mm and place onto cakes, sticking with a little jam.

Step 4

Decorate each cake with either a red cross as the flag of St George (sugar sheet cut into strips and fixed with a little edible glue, or with an English Rose design (use smallest size cutter in Pavoni set for rose, cut out in red paste, with stem and rose leaves in green).
