Step 1

Create your marbled sugarpaste using both packs of light blue, 3 quarters of white and a quarter from each of the green and blue. For best results, do not knead the pastes together - instead simply roll them into a sausage shape and fold into each other a few times before rolling out. Once you have achieved a marbled effect, cover your cake.

Step 2

To create the seabed, roll out a long length of yellow sugarpaste. Cut one edge of the paste straight and the other wavy. Secure to the base of your cake using edible glue.

Step 3

To create the seaweed, roll out your green paste and cut random sized strips that taper to a point. Layer over the seabed and secure using edible glue.

Step 4

To create the rocks, mix a small amount of black sugarpaste into some White to achieve a grey shade. Marble the grey with some more white sugarpaste to finish the rocks. Secure to the base of your seaweed using edible glue for the finishing touch!
