Use this flexible silicone 'gems' mould to create beautiful gems on your cakes and cupcakes, for anniversaries and many other celebrations! It is ideal for use with isomalt.
A quick and easy way to add sugar gem decorations to your cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Ideal to add gems to an Anniversary cake.
4 piece small gem mould includes: Circle, Heart, Octagon and Hexagon.
Use with sugar/flower paste, marzipan, melted chocolate or isomalt.
Use with a firm sugarpaste or modelling strength paste or flowerpaste. (Paste must not be too sticky)
Dust mould with cornflour and tap out excess. Do not use icing sugar as this could cause the paste to stick to the mould.
Press the paste into the mould and trim off any excess with a small palette knife, there is no need to wait for the paste to dry. Neaten the edges.
Small items should drop out easily but larger items may need a little easing.
May be used with melted chocolate, but more suitable with chocolate sugarpaste or Cocoform modelling chocolate.
