Step 1
Knead and roll out white and black sugar pastes and cut out round tops for cupcakes – in white and black. Fix onto cakes with jam.
Step 2
Cut out white and black shapes in modelling paste using the Men’s Accessories cutter, and leave to dry. Colour the shapes with lustre dust colours of your choice.
Step 3
Colour up half of the buttercream icing, to a dark grey – it will turn black as the colour develops. Add whitener into the remainder of the buttercream. Pipe swirls of buttercream onto centre of cupcakes, black onto white, and white onto black, to create a contrast.
Add accessories shapes onto the swirls of buttercream.
