You Will Need

Shortbread Biscuits Recipe:

150g plain flour
100g butter
50g caster sugar
Pint Glass Cookie Cutter (80218247)

To Decorate, You Will Need:

250g Culpitt Black Sugarpaste (74218)
100g Culpitt Brilliant White Sugarpaste (74229)
Colour Splash Edible Paint - Metallic Gold (75187)
Sable Paint Brush – 0 (0683253)

Step 1

Place all ingredients together in a bowl. Knead together until a soft consistency is reached.

Roll out and cut out with pint glass cutter. Leave in fridge to rest for 30 mins.

Step 2

Bake at 180 degrees C for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and leave on tray for a few minutes before removing onto a cooling rack to cool completely.

Step 3

Roll out black sugarpaste and cut out glass shapes. Brush cookies with either jam or piping gel and place shapes onto cookies.

Step 4

Roll out white sugarpaste. Using the top of the cutter as a guide, cut out white for the ‘head’ of the beer. Fix into place on the cookie. You can texture this for a ‘frothy’ head if wished. Allow to dry

Step 5

Paint the harp logo with the edible paint and a fine brush.
