Cocktails and cake. What better way to kick start your summer?!

To celebrate the sunshine finally making more of an appearance, we’ve put together a collection of our top 10 favourite summer cocktails…all in cupcake form and using delicious flavoured icing mixes!

Cupcake cocktails are a brilliant party idea and, with hundreds of different alcohol flavours and blends to try, the opportunity for creativity is endless.  Forget Saturday night cocktail classes; it’s all about getting creative with your cocktail cupcake making skills!

Summer cocktails have a reputation for being super sweet and fruity, so it’s no surprise they translate well into cupcake form. From strawberry daiquiris to piña coladas, we’ve got all your favourite summer cocktails covered! 🙂

 

1. Mojito Cupcakes

Our collection wouldn’t be the same without classic mint mojito cupcakes. These simple yet refreshing cupcakes follow a standard sponge recipe, baked golden brown and finished with a swirl of rum-infused buttercream topped off with a cute little mint leaf. Perfect for summer parties and BBQs!
