Craft Company Carrot Cake Mix - 1kg
Made in the UK, this high-quality carrot cake mix only requires you to add water, so there is no need for eggs or oil. This helps saves you time and money, whilst delivering excellent (and delicious!) results.
This cake mix takes all of the efforts out of baking. Simply add water using the instructions for use, in order to quickly and easily make a delicious carrot cake. Add crushed pineapple and chopped walnuts as an optional extra.
Makes a 8 or 9" cake.
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to Gas Mark 2 / 150oC
- Line a deep 8” or 9” cake tin with greaseproof paper, (or prepare 2 tins to reduce cooking time)
- Add 380ml water per 1kg of cake mix gradually and beat by hand or a mixer on medium speed for approximately 5 minutes
- Optional extra – add 125g crushed pineapple and 125g chopped walnuts
- Divide into baking tins and cover with tin foil and bake for about 50-55 mins for a tall cake, less if using 2 tins, (if you have an extra hot oven reduce the temperature slightly after 35 minutes)
- To ensure the cake is baked, gently insert a thin skewer in the middle of the cake until it comes out clean
- Leave to cool slightly in the tin
For muffins reduce water by 60ml per 1kg of dry mix and bake for approximately 30 minutes at a temperature of Gas Mark 3 / 160oC (makes around 20 muffins)

For Next Working Day Delivery please ensure that Express Delivery is selected and that your order is placed before 2pm. Returns
If you wish to return unwanted products from your order then please simply please email info@craftcompany.co.uk with details of your name, contact phone number, order number, date of order, items to be returned and the reason for returning. When returning goods to us, please enclose a copy of your invoice along with details of which items are being returned and the reason for returning. We will then process a refund for the goods unless stated otherwise.
