This 8" Round Silver Cake Board is 12mm thick, making it strong enough to support multi-tiered cakes and heavy fruit cakes. It is also available as a bulk pack of 5 cake boards.

We would recommend an 8" Cake Box for use with this cake board, to ensure a comfortable fit and to prevent the cake board from moving within the box when transporting your cake. To save money, you can also choose to buy our 8" Round Cake Board and Box combo.
As a general rule, the diameter of cake boards should be around 2 inches larger than that of the cake. For a fruit cake that has been covered in marzipan and icing, the board should be around 3 inches larger than the cake. As well as adding cake decorations to the board, you can cover the edge neatly with a 15mm cake ribbon.
