You Will Need
White iced 8” round cake on 11” drum board
Cake Star White Modelling Paste-100g (75001)
Colour Splash Food Colouring Gel-Violet-100g (0675060)

FMM Multi Ribbon Cutter (86258)
FMM Gift Tag Cutter (86637)

Step 1

Roll out a little of the white modelling paste and cut out gift tag. Leave to dry.

Colour the remainder of the paste with violet gel colouring. Choose your configuration for the ribbon cutter i.e. width and edge design, and cut out the paste, approx 3cm wide, and long enough to go over the top and sides. Place onto cake, tucking the ends under at the base (to give a wrapped effect).

Step 2

Knead the silver metallic modelling paste. (This is easier if you knead tiny bits and then put them together!).  Repeat as for violet strip, changing the edge design if wished, and cut it narrower, 1.5cm wide. Place on top of the violet strip, fixing with glue. 

Repeat this and place second strip at right angles to the first strip.

Step 3

Make silver loops for a bow and fix with glue in the centre of the ‘parcel’.

Write a message with the edible pen on the gift tag, and place the tag by the bow.

Using the remainder of the silver paste, roll out thinly, and cut out parcels, snowflakes and baubles with the tappits cutter. Stick onto ‘parcel’ at random.
