These delicious low sugar and low fat flapjacks are superbly scrummy. They include plenty of dried fruit, and healthy oats to make a heavenly snack for healthy lifestyles.

You Will Need
8" Square cake tin (84415)
250g Dried Fruit
150g Low Fat Spreadable Butter
100g Dates (Chopped)
4 tbsps. Apple Juice
100g Dried Apricots (Ready to eat, chopped)
50g Almonds (Toasted and chopped roughly)
250g Porridge Oats
Cooling Rack
Step 1

Place butter, dried fruit, dates and apple juice in a saucepan, heat and mash down the dates.

Step 2

Add apricots, almonds and oats. Mix well.

Step 3

Press down well into 8” square tin and bake at 190ºC (170ºC fan/Gas 5) for approx. 20 mins until just golden.

Step 4

Remove from oven, mark into squares, and cool in tin for 5 mins. Allow to cool completely.

Step 5

Cut into squares and remove from tin.

Ideal for a healthy snack!
