Culpitt Select Chocolate Flavour Vegan Cake Mix – 1kg

Made in the UK, this high-quality cake mix only requires you to add water and oil. This helps saves you time and money, whilst delivering excellent (and delicious!) results.

This 1kg Culpitt Select Chocolate Flavour Vegan Cake Mix takes all of the efforts out of baking. Simply add water and oil using the instructions for use, in order to quickly and easily make light and flavoursome sponge for cakes or cupcakes. As a guide, 1kg of cake mix will make 2 x 8" cakes, approx 3" depth.

See below for an idea of scaling for cake sizes;

  • For a 6" round cake you will need 350g of cake batter
  • For an 8" round cake you will need 500g of cake batter
  • For a 10" round cake you will need 770g of cake batter
  • For a 12" round cake you will need 1300g of cake batter

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 170°C.

  • Place 1kg of cake mix into machine bowl fitted with beater.
  • Add 400g of water and 200g vegetable oil over one minute on slow speed. Mix for a further 5 minutes on medium speed.
  • Divide into chosen tins and use a palette knife to spread until level.
  • Bake according to the following guidelines.

    • Scaling and Baking temps:

    • Round 6 inch tin - (180oC) 25-30 mins
    • Round 7 inch tin - (180oC) 25-30 mins
    • Round 8 inch tin - (180oC) 30-35 mins
    • Loaf unit cakes - (180oC) 30-35 mins
    • Baking sheet 30x18 inch (180oC) 45-50 mins

    Ingredients:
    Flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, niacin, iron, thiamin); sugar; fat reduced cocoa powder; vegetable protein; maize starch; emulsifiers: E471, E475; raising agents: E500, E541; salt; stabiliser: E415; flavouring.

    Order Times

    For Next Working Day Delivery please ensure that Express Delivery is selected and that your order is placed before 2pm. Please be aware that this is a working day service and does not include weekends or bank holidays. Orders placed before 2pm on Friday will be dispatched for delivery on Monday. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday and before 2pm on Monday will be dispatched for delivery Tuesday.

    We aim to dispatch orders ASAP, although sometimes Standard Delivery orders will take up until the specified shipping time. Please allow for this when placing your order and ensure that you select the appropriate shipping method to receive your order in time.

    Returns

    If you wish to return unwanted products from your order then please simply please email info@craftcompany.co.uk with details of your name, contact phone number, order number, date of order, items to be returned and the reason for returning. When returning goods to us, please enclose a copy of your invoice along with details of which items are being returned and the reason for returning. We will then process a refund for the goods unless stated otherwise.
