Wright's Scone Mix - 320g
Made using the best flours and ingredients, this scone mix by Wright's Baking lets you bake deliciously light and fluffy sweet or savoury scones. Just add water, plus fruit or cheese to make delicious, freshly baked scones every time.
Ideal for making classic teatime scones, or trying something different with adding fruit or cheese for fruity or savoury twists - this scone mix makes baking the perfect scones easy and mess-free!
To use
You will need: 320g scone mix, 130 ml water, milk, or beaten egg to glaze. Before you start, turn the oven up to 220°C (430°F) or Gas Mark 7.
- Pour the scone mix into a bowl and add the water. Using wooden spoon, mix together to form a dough (try not to over mix, you don't want tough dough).
- Using dusting flour as required roll out your dough to approximately 2,5 cm thickness. Cut out 8 scones, using a 6cm cutter and place on a baking tray.
- Brush the top of the scones with milk or beaten egg and pop them in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
