Colour Splash Food Colouring Gel – Christmas Red – 25g (0675075)

Method

Create marbled cupcakes by adding red food colouring to half the cake mixture.

Place plain and red mixtures into cupcake cases at random, then ‘swirl’ with a cocktail stick or skewer.

Bake at 170ºC for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.

Place buttercream into piping bag fitted with 1M nozzle. Pipe swirls onto cupcakes, starting from the outside and finishing in the centre.

To Decorate

Knead and roll out some green modelling paste. Cut out plenty of rose leaves in all sizes. Allow to dry. You may wish to dust and glaze these to enhance the finish, or leave them plain.

Add sugarsoft roses and leaves to decorate.
